Performance website build
- Fast, mobile-first pages designed to convert
- Search foundations and analytics included
- A site and code you own
Own your website
Many small businesses pay every month for a slow site they can barely change. A NOZA performance build is a website you own and can take with you, built on a fast foundation, with ongoing help only when you want it.
The problem
Plain answers
Ownership removes the platform rent and the lock-in. It does not make every cost disappear, and you deserve to know the difference up front.
What you own
The pages, layouts, text and images created for your site are yours to keep and reuse, as set out in your project agreement.
The code written for your website is delivered to you, so another developer can work on it without starting over.
Registered in your name and your account, never NOZA’s, so you always control your web address.
Form submissions, analytics and customer information collected for your business belong to you and can be exported.
What can still cost money
Paid yearly to your domain registrar.
Many small business sites fit within Cloudflare’s free plan. Very high traffic or advanced features can carry fees, and we tell you in advance.
Content edits, new pages, software and security updates, form and integration checks. Do it yourself, use another developer, or choose a NOZA plan.
For example a booking tool, an email service or a paid app.
Freedom to move
If you ever want to change developers or hosts, you should not have to start over. At handoff, or whenever you ask, you can have:
Owning your site does not mean owning everything it is built with. To be clear about the line:
Internal starter code, components, build tooling and processes we use across projects. You get a license to use what is in your site; NOZA keeps the right to reuse its own tools.
Your site is built on open-source software such as Astro. Those projects keep their own licenses, which allow you to use and modify them.
Paid fonts, apps or services are licensed under their own terms. Where possible they are set up in your name; we tell you when they are not.
Side by side
Subscription builders are convenient and suit some businesses. Here is how they differ from a site you own.
| Question | Owned NOZA website | Subscription platform |
|---|---|---|
| Monthly platform fee just for the site to exist | No | Yes, usually rising over time |
| Move the site to another host or developer | Yes, with the code | Usually only by rebuilding |
| Control over design, speed and structure | Full | Limited to the platform’s templates and settings |
| Who maintains it | You choose: NOZA, another developer or your team | The platform, on its terms |
| Ongoing costs | Domain, possibly hosting, optional support | Subscription plus add-ons |
What NOZA offers
Is it the right fit?
Questions
Yes. With a NOZA build, the design, content and code made for your site are delivered to you and your domain is in your name, so you are not locked into a platform. The exact terms are in your project agreement, and NOZA keeps its own reusable tools.
Expect your yearly domain renewal, and hosting fees only if your site outgrows a free plan. Maintenance and third-party services are optional and your choice. What you do not pay is a platform fee just for the site to exist. Your proposal lists expected ongoing costs.
Yes. You receive the code and documentation, your domain is already yours, and hosting can be moved to your own account. Any developer familiar with modern web tools can pick it up.
Yes, like any business asset. Content goes out of date, software needs occasional updates and integrations change. A simpler site needs less of it, and you decide who does it.
Those are subscriptions: convenient, but you rent the site and it usually cannot leave the platform. Owning means a site built for your business that you can keep, move and change. Subscription builders can be a fine choice if you want to edit everything yourself.
No, WordPress is the right tool for some sites. It does require hosting, plugins, updates and security maintenance. For many small business sites, a custom build is simpler to run and quicker to load.
